MEET THE PERSON BEHIND THE COMPUTER

Hello, I’m Kayla.

I am a multifaceted content creator from Colorado Springs. I weave my passion for dance and storytelling into a vibrant tapestry of creative expression. With a rich background in various dance forms, I channel the discipline and grace learned from ballet to tap into my role as a graphic designer, social media guru, content strategist, and marketer. My Bachelor of Arts degree in English—Creative Writing, combined with minors in Psychology and Film Studies and Production have equipped me with a nuanced understanding of narrative crafting, essential for compelling marketing and content creation.

As an alumna of the University of Denver, my editorial skills were honed through prestigious internships and leadership roles with The Denver Quarterly (Editorial Intern), Foothills Magazine (Prose Editor turned Editor-in-Chief), The Denver Publishing Institute (Publishing Certificate), and Project DU Film (Social Media Coordinator Intern).

As a seasoned freelancer with a robust background in social media coordination and media direction, I bring a unique blend of creativity and strategic expertise to every project. My experience orchestrating successful social media campaigns and directing media content equips me with the insights to craft visually compelling designs that resonate on multiple platforms. I am committed to delivering impactful visuals that elevate brand narratives and engage audiences.
